“Since February 2022, the collaboration between PETA and ARK has become especially close. It is marked by daily communication, mutual trust, and a shared goal: to create a model project where animals not only survive but have the chance to live happy, fulfilling lives. This is the largest and most resource-intensive project that PETA Germany has helped build in its more than 30-year history, primarily financed by PETA’s Global Compassion Fund (GCF). The GCF was created by PETA to support exactly these kinds of efforts, where animals are in urgent need around the globe.

But such a herculean project needs many supporters to keep it going! PETA and the GCF are providing strong and ongoing support, but sustainable help requires many shoulders to carry the weight, and every donation goes directly toward saving animals. The ongoing crisis in Ukraine continues to bring new challenges: more animals in need, destroyed infrastructure, rising prices for food and medicine. At the same time, ARK’s commitment is growing, including more rescue missions, more animals, and more responsibility.

That is why we hope and believe that ARK will find many good-hearted people who will also support the work with direct donations.”
